Encore applause

The Middle School ENCORE Celebration was a grand success. From decorated cakes, tapestries, balsa-wood bridges, lamps, paintings, artwork and computer creations, the wonderful examples of student work were incredible. Likewise, the performance by the seventh and eighth grade band and choruses topped off the evening beautifully. Thank you to everyone who had hand in making it wonderful.

Civil War Day

Mother Nature held off the rain on Thursday as the seventh grade headed to Victory Park for a day of Civil War history. Students visited a number of stations manned by re-enactors, many of whom are local residents and Wayland–Cohocton graduates. The interactive stations touched on numerous aspects of northern and southern military history as well as the life of civilians during the time period.
