TAX TIPS FOR CHANGES FOR 2009 RETURNS

Come to the library on Wednesday, February 3rd from 5-6 pm to learn about changes in income tax reporting from Kay Winpen, a representative of H&R Block. Review the latest changes in Earned Income Credit, Hope Credit, Unemployment Benefits, First Time Home Buyer Credit and more!  Bring your tax questions.

CUPCAKE DECORATING

Come to the library on Saturday, February 13th at 7 pm to learn some decorating tricks and eat your creations! Bring your creativity and a love of cupcakes! Call the library at 246-4317 to register.Grades 6 & up.

PET PHOTO CONTEST FOR KIDS

Take a photo of your pet or stuffed animal “reading” and submit it to the library by January 30th.  Pictures must be taken by children 5 to 12 years old. Prizes will be awarded and photos will be displayed throughout the library.

ART ON A CART FOR KIDS

Join the fun on Saturdays from 11am to 1 pm when you can drop in the library and be creative making a new craft project each week.  “Art on a Cart” will take place every Saturday in December through March 2010.  Children ages 6 to 12 are welcome. 



BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING

The Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday, February 9th at 6 pm.  Public comment is welcome at 6 pm.
