Tom Brogan passed away June 19, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 23, 1945, in Warsaw, the son of Martin and Florence Brogan.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; step-son, Brett (Betsy) Murray; step-daughter, Denae (Richard) Gibson; beloved step-grandchildren, Chanel and Breden Gibson, and Conner Freas all of Dansville; mother, Florence Brogan of Castile; sister, Linda Grant; nephews, Robert (Kathy) Grant, Justin (Heather) Grant; great-nieces, Molly Grant, Felicity Grant and Fiona Grant; and great-nephew, Francis Grant all of Linwood. Also survived by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Madge Cuddeback of Dansville; and brother-in-law, Bruce Cuddeback of Mesa, Ariz. He is predeceased by his father, Martin Brogan; and brother-in-law, Robert Grant.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran 1963-1970, a member and past commander of the American Legion Post Nunda, former member and president of Nunda Rotary Club, co-founder and past president of the Dalton Gang Sportsmen Club. Prior to his retirement, he was general manager of Modern Home in Nunda.

Friends called Saturday and Sunday at the Mann Funeral Home in Nunda. A Mass of Christian Burial was Monday at Holy Angels Church, Nunda. Interment in the Assumption Cemetery, Portageville. Memorial donations may be made to the Nunda American Legion or the Nunda Rotary Scholarship Fund.
