A southbound tractor trailer crashed late Sunday night in Livingston County on Interstate 390, spilling its cargo of carrots over the roadway and median.

Troopers arrived at the scene shortly before 10 p.m. The tractor trailer ended up lying across the northbound lanes, blocking traffic.

An article on the Democrat and Chronicle website reported the tractor trailer was traveling south when it struck another vehicle and crossed the median, tipping over. Another tractor trailer heading northbound swerved to avoid the accident and ended up in the median.

The article said the driver of the northbound tractor trailer suffered minor injuries.

State Police Troopers from the Geneseo and Wayland barracks responded to the accident.
