Last Matchup:

This is the first meeting between the two programs since the Dansville Way-Co merger, but Pal-Mac did face off with Dansville in the championship of the Connors and Ferris Bowl in 2010. In that game, the Mustangs came away with the big 39-29 win.

Season Stats:

DWC O: 28.0 ppg

DWC D: 19.5 ppg

Red Raiders O: 9.6 ppg

Red Raiders D: 27.0 ppg

Players to Watch:

Dan-Way-Co – Collin Mehlenbecher (RB/DB), Nick Belanger (QB/DB), Ben Teed (RB/LB), Ryan Belanger (OL/DL), Evan Pruonto (RB/DB), Holdyn Freeman (OL/DL), Benjamin Sick (OL/DL).

Pal-Mac – Devon McKoy (QB,DB), Matthew D’Arduini (WR/LB), Jakob Day (OL/LB), Ivan Reynolds-Diaz (FB/DL), Aiden Reed (OL/DL), Logan Percy (RB/LB), Ayden Lonneville-Lent (QB, DB).

3 Keys to Watch:

1. Dan-Way-Co put together an unbelievable defensive performance on the road last week against Geneva, and while putting up defensive points might not happen, the DWC defense should look to take control of an offense that is averaging less than 10 points per game.

2. Dansville-Wayland-Cohocton has an offense that can adapt to any defense and any situation. They can throw the ball, rush to either side of the field, produce big plays or put together lengthy drives. The functionality has allowed them to score in every single game this season. As they continue to grow and learn as a unit, look for DWC to add even more to the playbook this week and produce even more scores.

3. DWC currently holds the slight edge, but both of these teams are battling for a home playoff game. The winner of this game will find themselves in total control of their destiny, so expect both teams to come out with high levels of motivation and focus.

DWC knows that if they can win the final two games of the regular season, they will have a home playoff game. In the first year of the program, this is a massive success and it will set a new standard for football in the area. The players and coaches all want to be a part of that, and I expect them to come out and make a statement with a big win. DWC 32, Pal-Mac 13.
