Last Week: ER/Gananda fell to 1-3 on the season when it was defeated by a 40-14 final against LeRoy in Rochester. Wayland-Cohocton got their first win of the season when they defeated Marcus/Whitman/Bloomfield by a 28-7 final in Rushville to improve to 1-2 on the year.

Last Matchup: The last time these two teams faced off was in the final week of the 2014 season. In that contest, ER/Gananda came away with a narrow 26-20 win over Wayland-Cohocton in Rochester.

Eagles O: 9.3 ppg

Eagles D: 23.3 ppg

ER/Gananda O: 20.0 ppg

ER/Gananda D: 33.5 ppg

Players to Watch: ER/Gananda — Dion Mather (QB/DB), Sean Dermody (FB/LB), Adrian Letta (RB/DB), Chaunsey Gilbert (RB/LB), Nicholas Ricci (OL/DL), Wesley Jack (OL/LB), Elijah Parson (WR/DB). Wayland-Cohocton — Thomas Mead (QB/DB), Caleb Hanggi (RB/LB), Ben Teed (RB/LB), Brady Knudsen (WR/DB), Brogan Cotter (WR/DB), Jack Mulford (OL/LB), Collin Mehlenbacher (WR/DB).

3 Keys to Watch:

1. Wayland-Cohocton got its first score of the season on the board last week, and then it put three more on the board in a dominating win. If the Way-Co offense can carry over that offensive momentum, it could be in for an even bigger game this week.

2. The ER/Gananda offense and the Way-Co defense are scoring and giving up a similar number of points per game. If the Way-Co defense can keep the ER/Gananda offense to 20 points or less, then the Eagles should come away with their second win in a row.

3. Both teams are looking to get their second win of the season and string together a series of wins to end the season. This game should be close from the beginning of the contest to the end, and will likely come down to who makes fewer mistakes in the second half. If Way-Co can avoid turning the ball over and can limit their mistakes, they should pick up their second straight win.
