DALTON — Quicklee’s Convenience Stores, a family-owned and operated convenience store chain, has acquired the Mobil gas station located at 9924 Route 408 in Dalton.

The newest Quicklee’s acquisition brings their total store count to 24 locations across Upstate New York. The new station will continue to focus on providing access to fuel and convenience products to the area.

“One of the things we like most are opportunities to acquire existing stations like this one in Dalton,” said Ken Perelli, Quicklee’s Vice President and COO. “What’s exciting about these opportunities is that we’re coming with our best foot forward. With our brand, with our program, with our management, and with our sense of community, we can help turn an established location into something that the community can be proud of.”

Dalton is located in southwestern Livingston County, near Letchworth State Park and the town of Nunda. The newly acquired station will maintain its Mobil branding and Dunkin’ partnership while also continuing to provide access to convenience store staples and locally manufactured products through Quicklee's Go Local program.

In 2020 Quicklee’s opened its second travel center location in Allegany County just off I-86 in Belmont, south of Dalton.

“With Belmont last year and now a Dalton location this year, you can see we are committed to the area,” said Brian Mongi, Quicklee’s General Manager.

“We believe that all communities deserve exceptional service and the best product offerings, and we are working hard everyday to make that happen.”

Family-owned and operated, Quicklee’s has ties with national brands like Dunkin’ but also remains close to its local roots. In addition to the typical convenience store offerings, the company said it supports community organizations, works with local food manufacturers to provide them premium placement in its stores and prides itself on its fast, clean, friendly service.

Quicklee’s Convenience Stores have been family-owned and operated since 1995. In 2017 Quicklee’s expanded its business model to include travel center locations, and in 2018 they launched the Go Local program, which provided sales, marketing, and in store placement support to local food manufacturers.
