Bicentennial Event: Livingston County Weekend at Genesee Country Village and Museum

GENESEO — To celebrate Livingston County’s Bicentennial, the Genesee Country Village and Museum (GCVM) is hosting Livingston County Weekend from Saturday, July 24, to Sunday, July 25.

As home to 17 historic buildings from Livingston County, GCVM is offering special programming for all to enjoy plus a discount on admission for Livingston County residents. All Livingston County residents can enjoy $3 off regular admission (no other discounts apply) plus 10% off in the Flint Hill Store and on new membership purchases. Tickets will be sold at the door. Proof of Livingston County residency must be provided.

During Livingston County Weekend, GCVM will offer tours of all of the Livingston County buildings located at the Museum as well as talks that focus on each of the buildings. In addition, all regular GCVM interpretation will happen throughout the weekend, the John L. Wehle Gallery will be open to the public, and visitors will have a chance to enjoy a baseball game or two. The Nature Center trails will also be open for hiking from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
