Rockefeller Center Christmas tree 2019 from Hudson Valley cut down, headed for NYC
The 2019 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree comes from Florida, New York, a village in Orange County.
The Norway Spruce was chopped down today around 9 a.m., and will travel the roughly 60-mile journey to Rockefeller Plaza, where it will arrive on Saturday.
The tree will then be wrapped in over 50,000 multi-colored, energy efficient LED lights and topped with a Swarovski crystal star to be lit during a live broadcast.
