Camuto makes 22 saves for Mustangs
BATH — Haverling scored two first half goals on its way to a 2-0 victory over Dansville Monday in a Livingston County Athletic Association soccer matchup.
"We played well tonight," Haverling head coach Matt Hill said. "The guys played better tonight than we did Saturday. They passed well and created a ton of chances."
The Rams wasted no time, scoring 15 seconds into the game when Keefer Calkins found the back of the net on a breakaway.
"It's always great to score early," said Hill.
Around 20 minutes later, Lorenzo Serafini chipped a ball from 17-yards out that floated above the keepers head and into goal for a 2-0 advantage for Haverling.
The Rams outshot the Mustangs 28-2 in the contest.
Nick Camuto recorded 22 saves in goal for Dansville.
"He's a really good keeper," said Hill of Camuto.
With the win, Haverling improves to 8-0 and will travel to Hornell Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Haverling sits at No. 2 in Class B in the New York State boys soccer rankings.
Dansville (2-5-1) hosts Livonia Thursday.
