ALFRED — Paul Kemsley (Lancaster) and Jacob Wadsworth (Dansville) have earned All-Mideast honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following solid indoor seasons for Alfred State.

Kemsley was named All-Region in the weight throw. He threw a season best 17.15 m at the Highlander Invitational and won the ECAC Championship just last weekend with a toss of 16.29 m.

Wadsworth earned his All-Region honor in the heptathlon. He accumulated a season best 4,439 points at the ECAC Championships just last weekend. His total is the second-highest in school history.

A total of 1590 All-Region honors were handed out to 192 different member institutions. The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction.

Kemsley and Wadsworth will both be in action again when the outdoor season begins on March 22 at the Cal (Pa.) Invitational.
