ADDISON - Addison got offensive against Arkport-Caneseraga on Thursday, winning 75-22 in a SCAA boys basketball contest.

The Knights came out of the gates on fire, outscoring the Blue Jays 29-6 in the first quarter on the strength of nine points from Adam Chilson and eight points from Evan McIlwain.

Addison led 51-13 at the half and never looked back.

Chilson led the Knights with 20 points and Nick Solinas added 13 points.

Addison improves to 12-2 with the win.

Alfred-Almond 45, Campbell-Savona 21

ALMOND — Alfred-Almond took some momentum away Thursday night, picking up a late-season 45-21 home win over Campbell-Savona.

Caleb Dailey led the way for the Eagles, posting A-A’s quickest pin at 126 pounds in just 54 seconds. Evan Wood added a pin at 145 in 1:11 for the Eagles. Ben Lloyd posted a close 3-0 win over Will Aumick at 120 pounds. The rest of A-A’s wins came via forfeit.

For C-S, Dakota Thomas had a pinfall in 3:07 at 170 pounds, while Jacob Parulski posted one in 1:16 at 132 pounds. Steve Tammellin added a 3-0 win at 138 pounds.

Corning 104, Union-Endicott 78

CORNING - Corning picked up a 104-78 win over Union-Endicott in its last dual meet of the season on Wednesday.

For the Hawks, Yushi Portwood (100 yard butterfly; 58.30) and Daniel Hursh (100 yard freestyle; 55.58) were single individual winners.

Ryan McNutt (200 yard freestyle; 1:59.53 and the 500 yard freestyle; 5:33.10), Domenic Palumbo (200 yard individual medley; 2:20.26 and the 100 yard backstroke; 1:03.72) and Roger Liu (50 yard freestyle; 24.58 and the 100 yard breaststroke; 1:12.77) all were double individual winners for Corning.

Portwood, Cal Bartone, Jerry Hou and Liu touched first in the 200 yard medley relay in 1:50.47 and the team of Bartone, Liu, Owen Fisher and Ethan Kang won the 200 yard freestyle relay in 1:37.42.

SCAA girls basketball

Bradford 46, Campbell-Savona 41

BRADFORD - Bradford topped Campbell-Savona 46-41 in overtime in its senior game on Wednesday at home.

The Braves got off to a fast start with a 21-9 lead in the first quarter, but the Panthers battled back in the next 16 minutes and only trailed 32-30 heading in to the fourth quarter.

After a back-and-forth overtime the game went in to overtime.

Bradford outscored Campbell-Savona 6-1 in the extra period.

Alexis Nowicki had 16 points to lead the Braves, Brittany Rinker added 10 points and Emily Wagner chipped in nine points.

Katie Page led Campbell-Savona with nine points.

Prattsburgh 62, Canisteo-Greenwood 52

CANISTEO-GREENWOOD - Prattsburgh improved to 14-1 with a 62-52 with on Canisteo-Greenwood on Wednesday.

Maisy Booth had a game-high 33 points for the Redskins.

We're happy to walk away with a win tonight, Canisteo-Greenwood is a tough team with great size," Prattsburgh head coach Jeff Gilbert said. "If we see them in the County Tournament, we'll need a different plan for Maisy."

Lauren Robbins netted 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Vikings and Hannah Hopkins and Jenna Pinckney added 15 and 10 points, respectively.

Prattsburgh will travel to Campbell-Savona on Tuesday in its next game.
