DANSVILLE — Marjorie Elizabeth Morsch, 94, passed away Thursday evening (Oct. 15, 2020) at her home in Dansville, from natural causes with her daughter Theresa by her side.
She was born in Dansville on May 31, 1926, a daughter of the late Clair and Ruth (Young) Rawleigh. She was also predeceased by her husband, Arthur “Art”; a son, Kenneth; a sister, Betty Kirby; and a brother, Dewitt Rawleigh.
Marjorie was a home maker. She spent her time raising her and Art’s five children, and some of her grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church of Dansville, and a Eucharistic minister delivering communion to those who were homebound. She was a member of the legion of Mary, and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, swimming, and making her Elizabeth St. famous homemade pizzas.
Surviving Marjorie are her two daughters, Joan (Martin) Neenan, Theresa (Kevin) Allison; two sons, Ron (Mary Kay) Morsch and Roger Morsch; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was Celebrated on Monday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Dansville. Interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville.
