Jean Mennito Menger

Jean Mennito Menger, 80, died on July 5, 2021 following a brief illness in Hudson, FL. She was born in Wayland, NY on October 13, 1940 to Ralph and Hilda Mennito. Jean graduated from Wayland School with the class of 1958. She lived in Ossian, NY and worked as a teaching assistant at Dansville School for many years. She was medically retired in 2001 due to illness. Jean loved "her kids" and shared fond memories even after leaving school. She loved to play cards, cheering from the sidelines at antique tractor pulls, especially for her husband, George, and her son, Jeff. She was also a huge Yankee fan. Jean was predeceased by her husband,George, brother, Al and sister-in-law Betsy, nephew, Al Jr., brother-in-law Karl Kerr and special friend of the family, Woody. Surviving are her sister, Fran May Kerr, son, Jeff(Denise) Menger, daughters, Toni Carr, Amy (Jim Glatz) Menger. Also her grandchildren, Alex and Rian Glatz, Lucas Menger, Erin King and great grandson Zaden King, her nieces Sue Ann(Tim) Latimore, Cheryl Ann Nagley and nephew Ron Nagley. Per Jean's wishes, she was cremated with no services. In Memory of Jean a memorial donation may be made to the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI), 422 South Clinton Ave, Rochester, NY 14620, 585-232-1111
