Larry Franklin Kennedy
Larry Franklin Kennedy passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday June 25th, 2021 at the Ted & Diane Brandley hospice house in Summerfield, Florida after a lengthy illness. He was 75.
Larry was born on November 17, 1946 in Dansville, NY to the late Helen Palmer and George Kennedy.
He was a plumber by trade and owned his own business in New York for many years. Larry was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, camping and boating. One of his most memorable hunting trips was to Alaska where he was able to track and down a moose.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; ex-wife Judy Kennedy; two brothers Robert and Leonard Kennedy; aunt Mary Kennedy and Uncle Carl Howe.
Larry is survived by his wife of 26 years, Marion of Belleview, Florida; daughter Tammy Kennedy Morgan; four stepchildren, Deborah Gee-Thompson (James), Ralph Brown, Maurice Brown, and Christel Flinn (Scott); seven grandchildren, Michell Gillespie, Craig Ruane, Tyler Ruane, Dekota Kring, William Miller, Mason Brown, and Rene Kennedy; five great grandchildren, Jacob Gillespie, Silas Gillespie, Liam Kring, Kinsley Ruane, Damon Kring, and William Miller Jr; and one brother in law Heinz Kratz.
Larry will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
