She was a member of the Arkport (Bishopville) Home Bureau which later became a member of the Cornell Cooperative Extension. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and a communicant of St Ann’s Church. She was also a 20-plus year member of the St. James Hospital Auxiliary.
