DANSVILLE — Donna A. Fischer, long-time fiancée of Dansville native Donald Carl Glover (son of the late H. Ross and Corinne H. Burger Glover) entered into rest at her home in Orchard Park on Nov 5, 2018.
She was born August 3,1950 to the late Leroy H. and Marjorie A. Gardner Koelbel. She was predeceased by her husband Michael W. Fisher in 1997.
Donna was a graduate of Lake Shore High School, Angola, NY, and retired from her employment with the United States Postal Service.
Donna and Don enjoyed traveling together, including to Aruba, Mexico, and Hawaii. She even enjoyed traveling to Don’s baseball games in Arizona. Fond shared memories include their trip to Dansville in 2005 for Don’s parents’ 60th wedding anniversary, and to Florida in 2014 for the 90th birthday party for Don’s father. They enjoyed their pets Chicco (dog) and Izzy (cat). Donna was a very enthusiastic shopper.
She is survived by her daughter Megan (Nikhil Yasmin) Fischer of Syracuse, son Bradley (Emily) Fischer of Pinnacle, North Carolina, grandchildren Michael Fischer and Ella Fischer, brother Richard (Elaine) Koelbel of Ohio, and Donald’s sons Mark Glover (Corning), Matthew Glover (Rochester), Michael Glover (Buffalo), and Daniel Glover (Buffalo).
Donna will be cremated and her ashes buried with her husband at the North Evans Cemetery, North Evans, Erie County, NY. Per Donna’s wishes, there will be no service or calling hours. Online condolences can be made at www.lombardofuneralhome.com.
