LIVONIA — The Livingston County Drug Task Force on Tuesday reported the arrest of a Lakeville man following an investigation into cocaine sales in the Town of Livonia.

On Nov. 21, members of the Livingston County Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, executed a search warrant on Rochester Road in Lakeville. As a result of the search warrant, the Sheriff’s Office said it recovered cocaine and materials used for the packaging and distribution of cocaine.

Jose A. Carrion, 39, was arrested and charged by the Sheriff’s Office with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree (class B felonies), three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree (class B felonies) and one count of Criminal nuisance in the first degree (a class E felony).

Taylor was turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention. He was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail by Groveland Town Justice Love. The District Attorney’s Office recommended bail set at $10,000 cash or $20,000.00 bond. The Judge did remand Carrion on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
