Woman wanted in Bradford County, Pa. arrested in Livingston County
GENESEO — Livingston County Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty Tuesday reported the arrest of a Waverly resident as a Fugitive from Justice after an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
On Sunday at approximately 4:30 p.m., Deputy Michael Donals responded to the Sheriff’s Office lobby for a custody exchange. During the course of the peacekeeper assignment, the Deputy Sheriff found that Heather M. Miner, 31, had an active warrant out of the Sheriff’s Office from Bradford, Pa. for Failure to Appear on Forgery charges.
Livingston County Deputies confirmed with Bradford County Deputies that the warrant was active and that Bradford County would extradite Miner on the warrant.
Miner was arrested and charged as a Fugitive from Justice and was turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
Miner was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Town of North Dansville Judge David Werth. The Judge did remand to the custody of the Sheriff without the chance of bail pending an extradition hearing in Livingston County Court.
