Dundee’s Lily Hall traveled to Sacramento, Calif. in July to compete in the 2019 USA Track & Field Hershey National Junior Olympics. Hall capped off an extremely successful season in local, state, and national competition by finishing 16th in the girls 13-14 year old triple jump.

“These past two seasons were filled with blessings,” Hall said. “Ending this season at Junior Olympics was a blessing and I am grateful. I know alone it could not have happened.”

Hall, who will be a ninth grader at Dundee Central School in the fall, appreciates what she has accomplished in her young career and looks forward to new challenges.

“I’m very grateful for all of the opportunities and everything that has come and is to come,” she explained. “Through the ups and downs of the seasons, and in these seasons, I’ve learned a lot. I know everything has a purpose and I need to keep faith. That last moment does not define the next one. I’m walking by faith and not by sight, and every jump is a leap of faith.”
