Reaching a midpoint in the 2019 Finger Lakes Chamber Music Fesrival, the Sunday, July 14 concert in the beautifully inspiring Norton Chapel at Keuka College, features the works of three great 19th century composers. The music is melodious, romantic and symbolic, and reflects the nationalistic pride each composer had for his country. Artistic director, Richard Auldon Clark, together with a piano quintet from his Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, perform Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg’s To Spring; Frenchman Claude Debussy’s String Quartet, and Germany’s Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet. These great works speak to people of all nations.
Tickets are $25 for adults and free for students of any age. To purchase tickets in advance visit FingerLakes-Music.org Tickets are also available at the door.
This year’s Festival is made possible, in part, by a grant from NYSCA’s Decentralization Program, administered locally by the Finger Lakes Community Arts Grants (FLCAG).
