The Livingston County 4-H program held its annual Public Presentations event with 70 members participating. The goal of 4-H Public Presentations is to build a young person’s public speaking skills and confidence speaking in front of a group. Participants choose a topic of interest and develop a 3-15 minute presentation which they deliver in front of peers, adults, and judges.

This year, food demonstrations were a popular topic, with many youth choosing to show and tell the audience how to make a favorite recipe. The 4-H theme for Hemlock Fair this year is “4-H is Out of this World” and likely prompted another popular topic: outer space and our solar system.

This year’s participants included: Eli Barrett, Clark Benham, Jaiden Bentley, Julianna Braun, Matthew Charlebois, Victoria Charlebois, Jayden Coty, Chaundacey Crane-Yackley, Audrey de Wit, Rian de Wit, Cavan Dennis, Isabelle Dennis, Rayne Ebersold, Valarie Ellis, Devon Flick, Lindsay Flick, Atali Forsburg, Fox Forsburg, Loki Forsburg, Lillian Garrity, Ty Halpenny, Alyssa Healy, Rebekah Hertz, Spencer Hertz, Autumn Janson, Amara Jerome, Kamryn Jerome, Tyra Kelly, Carly Lang, Aydan Low, Ben Lyness, Luca Mennucci, Maddalena Mennucci, Molly Milliken, Madelyn Mulvaney, Julie Renner, Kaelub Rodgers, Emily Scheerens, Emmalynn Schleede, Lynn Schleede, Quinten Schleede, Xavier Schleede, Ella Sexton, Howie Sexton, Lucille Sexton, Lily Sharp, Onnolee Shutt, Reid Shutt, Kenny Smith, Laine Swarts, Meredith Swarts, Bailey Treuthart, Alaina Turek, Kristina Webster, Brady Wood and Cameron Wood.
