On Thursday, Aug. 30, the eve of International Overdose Awareness Day, from 7 to 8 p.m., CASA-Trinity will hold a Candlelight Vigil in remembrance of friends and loved ones who have lost their battle with the devastating disease of addiction.
Overdose deaths are having a huge impact on our country and on our local communities. This annual event provides the residents of Livingston County the opportunity to remember friends and loved ones taken from us by addiction.
Scheduled speakers for the event include; Pam Ricotta, local Mom of overdose victim; Ann Domingos, CASA-Trinity CEO; a representative for the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and two clients from CASA-Trinity’s treatment program. Each speaker will share their stories of how drug overdose has impacted their lives.
Please join together with us to mark this solemn occasion by remembering those who have lost their lives to addiction and stand together as we strive to increase awareness of the impact this disease has had on all of our lives. Join on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m. at CASA-Trinity, 4612 Millennium Drive, Geneseo, NY to light a candle of remembrance and hope. Rain location is Geneseo United Methodist Church on Route 63.
