North Dansville — Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty announces the arrest of a Rochester man on felony weapons charges.

 

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office reports that on Aug. 18 Deputy Brandan Flickner, who is assigned to the STOP DWI Unit, stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on Interstate 390 in the Town of North Dansville.

 

During his roadside investigation, a passenger in the vehicle, Antonio D. Hilliard, 35 was found to be in possession of a switchblade knife, which is illegal in New York State. It was further discovered that Hilliard had a previous conviction for criminal possession of a weapon in 2014, making this occurrence a felony.

 

As a result, Hillard was charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd. Hilliard was transported to the Livingston County Jail. Hillard was arraigned in the Town of North Dansville, before Judge Werth, where he was remanded to the Livingston County Sheriff's Office, and is being held without bail due to prior felony convictions.
