ABC is moving out of Apartment 23.
With eight episodes left to air in its sophomore season, Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 has been pulled from the schedule, TVGuide.com has confirmed. In its place, ABC will air back-to-back episodes of Happy Endings.

ABC ran additional episodes of the Wednesday night comedies on Sundays this fall, which ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee said he hoped would give the shows more visibility. "We love those shows," Lee told reporters at the network's winter TV previews, calling them "distinctive, watercooler" shows. "We think the [Sunday night airings] are a great way to sample them." However, the network quickly replaced the Sunday airings with Shark Tank repeats after low ratings.
Happy Endings has been averaging slightly better ratings than Apartment 23 (4 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in the 18-to-49 demo vs. 3 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in the 18-to-49 demo.) The network has not announced when or if it will air the remaining eight episodes of Apt. 23.

"Sad to say ABC has pulled #Apt23 and will not be airing the 8 remaining episodes any time soon. Translation: we've basically been cancelled," James Van Der Beek tweeted Tuesday. "You've got to give ABC props for ever picking us up in the first place. They took a shot at something original & edgy. I respect them for it."
Despite co-star Krysten Ritter tweeting that the show has indeed been canceled, a rep for ABC says the show has not yet been officially axed.
