  • This week in sports, Dansville girls’ basketball played Keshequa (5-2, 1-1) Tuesday with the Mustangs coming out in top, 57-55. On Thursday, the Mustangs girls (6-3, 0-3) fell to Bath-Heverling, 63-58. The Indians (5-3, 1-2) dropped to York, 45-41. Wayland-Cohocton played Geneseo Tuesday with the Eagles girls winning 53-37. On Thursday night, Wayland-Cohocton’s girls (5-4, 1-3) fell to Livonia 45-34.
    In boys’ basketball, Dansville (3-4, 0-2) defeated Keshequa (3-6, 0-2) with a final score of 47-43. Wayland-Cohocton (7-2, 2-1) defeated Geneseo 50-39.
    Dansville boys’ swimming split meets this week, first tying Livonia 51-51 and on Thursday defeating Perry 95-88. The Mustangs are 6-2-1, 6-1-1 on the season. Wayland-Cohocton’s swimmers picked up a win over Hornell, 101-80, on Tuesday and another over Generso, 90-88, on Thursday.
