Author and columnist, Amy Dickinson will be speaking at the Steele Memorial Library, 101 E. Church St., Elmira, at 7 p.m. on August 13 to celebrate the ending of Chemung County Library District’s (CCLD) Adult Summer Reading Program.


Amy is author of the New York Times bestselling memoir, “The Mighty Queens of Freeville.”  She also writes the syndicated advice column, “Ask Amy,” which is carried in more than 150 newspapers and read by an estimated 22 million readers daily.


One reading club member from each CCLD branch will be awarded a Kindle Touch. The event is open to the public.
