SUNY Ulster’s Continuing and Professional Education Department will offer Driver Education classes this summer at the Business Resource Center in Kingston.  This program, approved by the New York State Education Department, is a 48-hour course including six hours of behind-the wheel instruction, 18 hours of in-car observation, 24 hours of classroom training, and orientation. The cost is $524.  Upon completion, students will receive a certificate which may allow a reduction on auto insurance premiums.
To register, students must be at least 16 years of age at the time of orientation and possess a learner’s permit.  Class orientation is being held on Monday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m.  Class is scheduled from July 2 – August 17.  For more information or to register, contact the Continuing and Professional Education office at 845-339-2025.
