Kingston, N.Y., – May 18, 2012 – As part of Healthy Ulster County Week, The Kingston Hospital Foundation will lead a walk from HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley’s Kingston Hospital Emergency Entrance to the Benedictine Hospital Lobby on Wednesday, May 23 at 11 a.m. HealthAlliance’s Clinical Nutrition department will have a nutrition table and free Body Mass Index (BMI) screenings available from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., while the Dietary department will offer fresh fruit and a water snack station. There will also be information available on HealthAlliance services.

HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley is partnering with other local businesses and community organizations like restaurants, gyms, stores, libraries to encourage Ulster County residents to eat better, exercise more and increase awareness of their health.
