The Post 9/11 GI Bill provides 100% tuition and fee payment as well as a monthly housing stipend of $1528 to eligible veterans enrolling in at least 7 credit hours per semester.  In addition, up to $1000 per year is available for books.  SUNY Ulster has scheduled a comprehensive information session on Monday, February 28, from 3:30—4:30 p.m. at the Business Resource Center in Kingston, to discuss higher education choices for Veterans and Active Duty Personnel. Counselors from the Admissions and Financial Aid office will be available to discuss programs of study, transfer credits, VA tuition benefits and campus support services. This event is free and open to the public.
