  • Nunda Fun Days schedule of events

  • Nunda’s popular three-day celebration is quickly approaching.   The 48th Annual Nunda Fun Days will be May 31, June 2, and 3 at the Nunda Kiwanis Park on Portage Street.




    The carnival and three-day celebration is noted for its family-oriented atmosphere.  No alcohol is served on the grounds.  There is seating available for your convenience.

  • Nunda’s popular three-day celebration is quickly approaching.   The 48th Annual Nunda Fun Days will be May 31, June 2, and 3 at the Nunda Kiwanis Park on Portage Street.
    Thursday Night, May 31
    • Grounds open at 6 p.m.
    • The ever-popular Pet Parade sign-ups begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Nunda Government Center located at the corner of Massachusetts Street and N. State Street.  The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. with judging taking place prior to its start.
    • The Sophomore Class will host a Beef on Weck Dinner at the Keshequa Middle/High School from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
    • As always, many local organizations will be set up on the carnival grounds offering a variety of foods and fundraising activities.
    • A small fee of $2 per car is charged each night for parking. This small fee helps to keep the Nunda Fun Days coffers in the black and allows us to continue the venue.
    Friday Night, June 1
    • New this year is an antique tractor show beginning at 9 a.m. at the Poor American Restaurant on State Route 408.  Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music of Rick Morris and Friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Menu specials will be available at the Poor American.     • Grounds open at 6 p.m.
    • Flea market, arts and crafts adjacent to the midway.
    • Possible entertainment at the pavilion provided by some local groups.
    Saturday, June 2
    • 9:30 a.m.  - Nunda Kiwanis Club will hold its 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk.   All proceeds will benefit the “Eliminate Project.”   The race will begin and finish at the Keshequa Middle/High School.  All participants may pre-register.  In order to guarantee your free t-shirt, you must pre-register by May 28th.   Race Day registration fee will be $20. For pre-registration, call/e-mail Melissa Stevens at (585) 468-5906 or mjkrenzer@yahoo.com  Or you may visit the Nunda Government Center or M&T Bank. Applications can also be downloaded on Facebook at Nunda Kiwanis.  Make checks payable to Kiwanis Club of Nunda.
     
    • The Antique Tractor show will continue at 9 a.m.  At 10 a.m. there will be a Saturday tractor cruise around the rural areas of Nunda. They will stop at the Country Store in West Sparta for lunch and return to Nunda around 1 p.m. Anyone interested in riding the wagon, please feel free to join in. Kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
    • Carnival grounds open at noon.
    • The Keshequa junior class will have a chicken barbeque from noon until sold out. This will be at the Middle/High School.
    • Continuing Flea Market, arts and crafts adjacent to the midway.  
    • Ride from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at one price ($12). Discount tickets are available at local businesses and available through Wednesday, May 30. Purchases on Saturday will be $15 each.
    • Grand Parade at 6 p.m. The parade begins on N. State Street and ends at Kiwanis Park.  Judging by NY-Penn Judging Association, Inc.
