On the final day of the regular season at Babcock Park a pair of local rivals were at it again as Wayland-Cohocton dropped into Dansville. The two teams opened the game in great rival fashion as the game was scoreless through the first four innings of play. Wayland-Cohocton finally broke through scoring in each of the final three frames to go home with a piece of the Livingston County Division 1 title with a 6-0 whitewash of the rival Mustangs.

For the Golden Eagles Evan Englert recorded the win going all the way with complete game 3-hitter as he fanned nine and walked just one. At the dish, Tyler Thielges was 1-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and scored twice. Collin Burke 2-4 with an RBI, two stolen bases and scored a run. Tim Weidman clubbed a two-run homer, Mike Murphy doubled in a run, Joey Meyer also added a double and scored a run for the Golden Eagles. Way-Coh shares the D-1 title after Hornell edged Bath-Haverling 6-5.

Mitch Lamerson pitched well in going all the way for coach Tom Hober's team. Offensively for the Mustangs Andrew Kershner had two of the hits going 2-3 while Steve MacDonald had a 1-3 day in the regular season finale for both clubs.
