TheHighwoods Reformed Church will be having their 119th Labor Day Fair on Monday, September 5th, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
    Under the tent there will be a giant yard sale with everything from clothes, books, appliances, toys, furniture and many other items.  There will also be the yum-yum booth with homebaked goodies such as cookies, brownies, breads, cakes and pies.
In the old schoolhouse, the Ladies Aid will be selling homemade items including rag rugs woven on the looms in the schoolhouse.  In the yard next to the schoolhouse will be vendors selling homemade items, Avon and old car parts.
    From the kitchen in the church hall, you will be able to buy lunch:  hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage and peppers, etc.  There is also a chicken BBQ from noon to 4 p.m.  This is take out only.  A complete dinner is $12 for a half chicken, baked potato, cole slaw, roll and dessert.  You may also buy just a half chicken for $6.  FMI?call 246-9492.  Reservations are suggested.
    At 1 p.m. in the church, Michael and Sally Zollo will be entertaining for those who enjoy folk music, show tunes, old time favorites and novelty tunes.
