    What do you enjoy most about the sport of basketball, and athletics?
    “I love the girls on my team. We are all really close and they are my second family.”
    What is one of your more memorable moments as a high school athlete?
    “Winning sectionals as a junior and beating Pavilion in the finals in overtime by two.”
    Who inspires you most in sports, and why?
    My mom and dad. My mom got me into playing basketball, and both of my parents have encouraged me to do better throughout the years.”
    If you could go to dinner with five people, who would they be, and why?
    “LeBron James because he is my favorite athlete. My mom and dad because they have meant a lot to me throughout my basketball career. Candace Parker because she is my favorite women’s player, and because she can dunk of course.”
    What other sports do you play? Which is your favorite, and why?
    “I play goalie for our soccer team and I plan on doing track in the spring. My favorite sport is basketball because it’s a team sport and I love how the game is played.”
    What is the greatest challenge in balancing academics and athletics?
    “Balancing practice time with time to do my homework and study for tests.”
    If you could play 1-on-1 with any player, who would it be, and why?
    Candace Parker because she has inspired me as I’ve grown up.”
    If you could have one superpower what would it be, and why?
    “The ability to fly so I would be able to get to places fast.”
    How do you motivate yourself before games?
    “Jamming out in the locker room before the game with the team to the song ‘Shots.’”
    What are your plans after graduating from high school?
    “I plan on going to college and pursuing a degree in criminal justice. Currently I am undecided as to which school I will attend.”

    What is your favorite moment from this season?
    “Beating Letchworth. They were up by a lot at the half, and we came back in the second half. We ended up beating them in overtime, and then they didn’t talk trash anymore. They were on like a 10-game winning streak and we didn’t want to make it 11.”
    If you could have any NBA player on your team for a game of 2-on-2, who would it be?
    “I’d pick LeBron James because he’s the best player in the NBA.”
    You averaged a double-double this season. Is rebounding a focus of your game?
    Page 2 of 2 - “Absolutely. It is a big key to winning the game. We pretty much out-rebound every other team we play. We really focus on getting a lot of boards. You score more points if you get more offensive rebounds, too, so that always helps.”
    Who is someone in the sports world who inspires you?
    “Coach Jimmy V because his speech was so powerful.”
    What are the greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
    “Trying to focus in school on game-day.”
    What other sports do you play? Which is your favorite, and why?
    “In addition to basketball, I also play soccer and baseball. Baseball is my favorite because I grew up always playing and loving it.”
    How do you motivate yourself before games?
    “I like to just relax and focus on everything I need to do.”
    If you could go to dinner with any five people, who would they be?
    “Michael Jordan, Will Farrell, Beyonce, my best friend Kyle Karst and Coach Howard, because I like them all very much.”
