ďWhether we like it or not, asking is the rule of the Kingdom. If you may have everything by asking in His Name, and nothing without asking, I beg you to see how absolutely vital prayer is.Ē

C. H. Spurgeon

The scope of prayer

Through prayer there is no problem that canít be solved,

no sickness that canít be healed, no burden that canít be lifted,

no storm that canít be weathered,

no devastation that canít be relieved,

no sorrow that canít be erased,

no poverty cycle that canít be broken,

no sinner that canít be saved,

no perishing that canít be rescued,

no fallen that canít be lifted,

no hurt that canít be removed,

no broken relationship that canít be mended,

no difference that canít be resolved,

no hindrance that canít be shaken,

no limitation that canít be overcome,

no mourning that canít be comforted,

no ashes that canít be that canít become beauty,

no heaviness that canít be covered with the garment of praise,

no thirst that canít be quenched, no hunger that canít be filled,

no dry ground that canít be flooded,

no desert that canít blossom,

no congregation that canít be revived,

no preacher that canít be anointed,

no church pews that canít be filled,

no church leadership team that canít become Ďone,í

no community that canít be Christianised and

no nation that canít be transformed.
