The Dansville girls soccer team closed out their regular season on the road in Genesee County as they paid a visit to the Batavia Blue Devils and came home on the short side of a 2-0 score.

“We made a couple of defensive mistakes early and Batavia took advantage of them and grabbed an early lead,” Coach Arin Belden said. “We corrected things & really battled them the rest of the way, but just couldn't get one in the net.”

Dansville outshot Batavia 10-8 in the game and had several chances late in the contest, but failed to score. Niki Linzy recorded 18 saves in goal for the Mustangs who now await their seeding for sectionals, to take place on Saturday at York.
