Dansville boys soccer gave Livonia all they could handle on Wednesday night but came up short in a 2-1 final.


Conrad Norman got the Bulldogs on the board in the 28th minute with an unassisted goal. The Mustangs connected in the second half with 25:37 on the timer when Mudassir Syed netted one on an assist from Steve MacDonald. Livonia scored the game-winner with just 35 seconds remaining in the game as Conrad Nornman stung the Mustangs again for the 2-1 triumph.


Livonia outshot Dansville 20-9 and had three corners to none for the Mustangs. Dan Alexander came up with 14 saves in goal for Dansville, as Tom Benedict registered six stops for the Bulldogs.


“It was a great game, we certainly had our chances to win but came up short,” Dansville Coach Dr. John Skillings said.
