I can't say it any better than Wayland-Cohocton boys basketball coach Bob Skoczylas... “It’s never too early to get your child excited about the game of basketball.”

That's why the Golden Eagles will be hosting their annual basketball camp soon. The event is open to youngsters going into grades 3-8 this upcoming school year. Coach Bob noted the camp will be run in the Wayland-Cohocton Field House Monday, June 25, through Thursday, June 28, from 9 a.m. till noon each day. The purpose of the basketball camp is to provide each participant with an opportunity to develop and improve their own basketball skills. An experienced staff will provide knowledge of the game, allowing skills development to take place in a fun-filled atmosphere.

Each camper will have a chance to win various individual contests including one-on-one, hot-shot competition, an elimination contest aloing with a foul shooting compeition. Each winner will recieve a trophy, while everybody gets a “camp t-shirt.” The cost of the camp is $45 if paid before Wednesday, June 15. From June 15 through the morning of the camp the price will jump to $ 50. To learn more contact coach Bob Skoczylas at 585-728-2551, or 585-615-3975, or email Rskoczylas@wccsk12.org.
