    The Dansville Central School Class of 1960 took time to honor the classmates and teachers who served in the United States armed force. Air Force; Douglas A. Briggs 4 years, Lanny S. Burns 4 years, Rodney L. Crane 4 years, Gerald Rose 4-plus years, David Rose 4 years, David Rose 4 years, James Russell York 4 years; Army: Lloyd C. Hynes 2 years, David W. Rhoda 2 years, Lewis E. Stremovihtg 3 years, Frank Basta, Quentin J. Masolotte; Army Reserve: William I. Maracle 6 years, Dennis F. Rounsville 6 years; Marines: Scott W. Crane 3 years, William L. Teachout 3 years; Navy: Kenneth M. Alexander 4 years, Raymond E. Briggs 24 years, Elwood E. Huff 20 years, Jack E. Murphy 3 years, Larry J. Murphy 4 years, Paul C. Murphy 20 years, John C. Reinholtz 4 years, Thomas H. Slaight 3 plus years, Harold S. White. They also thank Richard Knapp for his volunteer service in the Peace Corps. By his work, he promoted peace and friendship while helping the people of Nepal. Senator Cathy Young presented 22 members a New York State Senatorial certificate for service to their country.
