Ruth E. Strobel, 90, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010. Ruth was a 74-year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cohocton, where she served as an elder for 30 years.


Ruth is survived by her brother, Leon Strobel of Bath; sisters, Delores Edgecomb of Atlanta and Isabel Griffith of Vernon, Conn.; sister-in-law, Millie Strobel of Cohocton; nieces and nephews, Dawn Andersen, Debbie Sharp, Kathleen Noyes, Cynthia Griffith, Dean Strobel, Peter Strobel, Sue Haumesser and Kathy Bernfeld; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
