ABC enjoyed a rare win Monday, topping the night in viewership and tying CBS in the adults 18-to-49 demographic.

The Bachelor continued to grow, jumping 11 percent to 9.2 million viewers and a 3.0 rating to hit a season high. Those are the show's best numbers for a non-finale episode since March 2011. Lead-out Castle (9.7 million, 2.2) also rose to hit a season high.

TV's most heartbreaking deaths

CBS had a down night overall, save for How I Met Your Mother (8.8 million, 3.4), which went up, and Rules of Engagement (8.1 million, 2.8), which was flat.

On Fox, Bones (8.3 million, 2.1) dipped a tenth, but The Following (8.2 million, 2.8) improved four-tenths, growing for the first time since its second week.

After hitting a season low last week, NBC's The Biggest Loser (5.5 million, 2.1) rose a tenth, while Deception (3.2 million, 1.2) was even.
