For years, Lil' Kim has been known for her colorful hair styles, but after a recent night out in Los Angeles, it's safe to say no one was looking at her locks.

Photos: Stars who don't look their age

The rapper, whose real name is Kimberly Denise Jones, stepped out on Feb. 1 with an almost unrecognizable face, including what appeared to be lighter skin, fuller cheekbones and a smaller nose. Her new look comes several months after reports began surfacing that Lil' Kim had undergone plastic surgery.

After rising to fame in the late '90s with hit singles like "No Time," "Magic Stick" and a remake of "Lady Marmalade," Lil' Kim served one year in a federal detention center in 2006 for lying to a Federal grand jury about a shooting involving a friend. She competed on Season 8 of Dancing with the Stars in 2009 and is next expected to release her fifth studio album sometime this year.
