According to the complaint filed in federal court in New York, Florida-based ticketing company FIRE USA Inc. accused Swift, 23, and her management, Messina Group, of accepting the payment and then refusing to perform "and/or reschedule a new appearance" which "amounted to a breach" of her contract.

FIRE alleges that it is suing Swift after the company was sued by Evo Merchant Services, a New York-based credit card payment processing company that reportedly had to hand out refunds after numerous credit card firms submitted requests on behalf of disappointed ticket holders. Evo is seeking $1.8 million to cover losses suffered after claiming FIRE declined to pay up in violation of their contract.
