The Bloomfield girls bowling team captured its fourth Section 5 title at AMF Gates Lanes on Saturday. The Bombers recorded a score of 5,016 to hold off Bishop Kearney (4,763) in Class D.

“The girls bowled exceptionally well,” coach Pat Conklin said. “We never had a game under 800, we bowled very consistent games all morning and afternoon long.”

Bloomfield’s Rayissa Amon bowled a six-game series of 1,214 and made the state composite team. Jenny Nunez rolled the high game for Class D with a 234 and finished with a 1,055 series. Courtney Hurlburt finished with a 1,025, Sara Fessner rolled a 866 and Jenny Bober rolled a 856. Amon’s series was the highest in Class D.

The Bombers went 70-0 during the regular season and won their six games on Saturday.

Harley-Allendale Columbia (4,102) finished third in Class D, Red Creek finished fourth (3,982) and Honeoye finished fifth (3,768).

The Hilton girls won the Class A championship with a score of 5,747 and ended up the overall winner, giving them the opportunity to represent Section 5 at the state tournament. Webster Thomas finished second in Class A (5,613). Gates-Chili (5,439), Webster Schroeder (5,206) and Rush-Henrietta (4,831) rounded out the top five.

Anai Flanagan led the Cadets with a 1,267 series. Teammate Steph Urbunas rolled a 1,213, Sarah Gerken rolled a 1,108, Nicole Simons rolled a 1,084 and Hannah Petroske rolled a 1,075.

Gates-Chili’s Emily Notebaert had the high series in Class A (1,278) and Rush-Henrietta’s Victoria Florack had the high game (247). Notebaert, Gates-Chili teammate Lindsey Foley (1,249) and Thomas’ Emma Catone (1,220) all qualified for the state team.

Greece Athena took first place in Class B with a score of 4,568. Canandaigua finished second (5,051) and Victor finished third (5,036). Greece Arcadia (4,924) and Spencerport (4,843) rounded out the top five.

Denae Kleehammer led the Trojans with a 1,155 series. Teammate Kristy Foti rolled a 1,143, Mallory Green rolled a 1,111, Alexa Fazio rolled a 1,041 and Nicole Vary rolled a 1,018. Green had the high game in Class B (229).

Victor’s Brianna Newton rolled a 300 in her first game of the day and finished with a 1,331 to qualify for the state team. She rolled the high series in Class B. Her younger sister Dominique bowled a 1,082.

Elizabeth Natoli led Canandaigua with a 1,121 and teammate Elisa Sloth rolled a 1,108.

The Newark girls won the Class C title with a score of 5,121. Greece Odyssey finished second (4,823), Marcus Whitman finished third (4,603), Penn Yan finished fourth (4,571) and Wayne finished fifth (4,493).

Cassie Everhart led the Reds with a 1,180 series. Teammate Alexis Rowe rolled a 1,049, Michelle Magee rolled a 1,037, Katie Lyman rolled an 829, Ashley Breemes rolled a 768 and Sarah Blackwell rolled a 258. Rowe had the high game in Class C (233).

Odyssey’s Kara Mangiola rolled the high series of anyone  at sectionals (1,373) and qualified for the state team.
