GIRLS BASKETBALL

Greece Odyssey 58,
Edison 25

The Greece Odyssey girls basketball team improved to 11-3 on the season with a win over Edison Technical on Monday.
Sophomore Karissa Birthwright scored 22 points to lead the Leopards giving her 1,003 points during her varsity career, which began in eighth grade. Nicole Desimone added 10 points and MIchayla Salatel chipped in three points and nine assists as 10 different Odyssey players made their way onto the scoring ledger.
Aveaun Powell finished with eight points to pace Edison (5-7). Mike’ll Tyler added seven points.

Red Jacket 49,
Bloomfield 26

The Red Jacket girls basketball team ran its season record to 10-3 with a 49-26 victory over Bloomfield on Monday night.
Bailey Hixson filled up the stat sheet for the Indians as she posted an 18-point, 14-rebound, 10-block triple-double, while also adding five assists and one steal. Danielle Ogrodowski added nine points and 11 rebounds while Sam Teufel had eight points.
Mackenzie Henderson scored seven points to lead Bloomfield (6-7). Madison Kimball added five points and five rebounds while Melanie Weber had two points, seven rebounds and three steals.

H-AC 72,
Honeoye 29

Jenny Scudder collected 22 points, 13 rebounds and five steals to lead the H-AC girls basketball team to a 72-29 win over Honeoye on Monday.
Abby O’Keefe added 27 points for the Wolves, who improve to 13-2 with the win.
Taylor Pestle put in 14 points to lead Honeoye (3-9).

BOYS BOWLING

Bloomfield 7,
South Seneca/Romulus 0

Tommy Rowlinson tossed a 626 series with games of 224, 200 and 202 to lead Bloomfield to a sweep of South Seneca/Romulus on Monday.
Jared Coryea added a 557 series, including games of 192, 181 and 184, while Cody Boadway had a 553 series with games of 205, 177 and 171. Josh Gosper chipped in a 531 series while Dylan Mott contributed a 201 game.
Spencer Fort posted a 420 series with games of 156 and 145 to lead South Seneca/Romulus. Justin Foster added a 380 series with a 159 game while Nick Lane chipped in a 357 series with a 143 game.
Bloomfield won the first game 952-596, the second game 938-609, the third game 903-519 and the overall match 2,793-1,724.

Webster Thomas 6,
Victor 0

The Webster Thomas boys bowling team swept Victor on Monday, winning the first game 996-987, the second game 1,156-1,005 and the overall match 2,152-1,992.
Four Titans finished with averages of over 210 as Chandler Ditch (210, 246 - 456), Anthony Allen (204, 247 - 451), Matt Cleary (209, 226 - 435) and Cody Dinse (167, 256 - 423) all racked up the pins. Nate Sharrow added a 387 series with games of 206 and 181.
Alex Commmisso led Victor with a 428 series, including games of 206 and 222. Dylan LaBrake had a 409 series (203, 206), Corey Christensen added a 401 series (209, 192), Scott Stephenson tossed a 383 series (189, 193) and Josh Means chipped in a 372 series (180, 192).

Courtny Hurlburt led the Bombers with a 610 series including games of 227, 183 and 200. Rayissa Amon added a 585 series with games of 167, 182 and 236 while Sara Fessener and Jenny Nunez each provided a 180 game.
Jamie Harris rolled a 386 series, including a 160 game, to lead South Seneca/Romulus. Caylin Coley added a 356 series.

Victor 0

The Webster Thomas girls bowling team earned a sweep of Victor on Monday, led by Stacey Gardner with games of 203 and 182 on her way to a 385 series.
Thomas’ Ashley Ferrara finished closely behind with a 383 series, including games of 191 and 192. Teammate Emma Catone came in just one pin behind with a 382 series (184, 198) while Delaney St. George added games of 216 and 147 for a 363 series.
Dominique Newton posted a 374 series with games of 163 and 211 to lead Victor. Brianna Newton added a 357 series with games of 182 and 175.
Webster Thomas won the first game 956-656, the second game 869-770 and the overall match 1,825-1,426.
