BOYS BASKETBALL

Honeoye 63,
H-AC 45

Playing its second game in as many nights, the Honeoye boys basketball team improved to 11-4 with a win over H-AC on Thursday.
Ben Cratsley flirted with a triple-double for the Bulldogs as he finished with 29 points, nine assists and eight steals. Justin Soliday had 12 points and seven blocked shots, Jon Connell chipped in eight points and seven rebounds and Tanner Gladding added six points.
Jamir Avery finished with 19 points to lead H-AC (2-13). Eric Tolhurst added 12 points, followed by Galen Everett with eight and Amos Frye with six.

Lyons 78,
Red Creek 44

The Lyons boys basketball team earned a 78-44 win over Red Creek on Thursday to improve to 12-1 on the season.
Alex Musolino and Tre Johnson each scored 12 points to lead the Lions, with Musolino adding four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Devan Veeder chipped in 11 points while Mareese Wells and D.J. Long each had nine.
Jacob Slobe poured in a game-high 21 points to lead Red Creek (2-14). Brandon Lozier added eight points.

Early College 78,
Red Jacket 46

Arie Buckhalter scored 25 points to lead Early College International to a win over Red Jacket on Thursday night.
Anthony Monroe added 23 points, including seven three-pointers, as Early College improved to 5-9.
Mike Gianconia collected eight points, 11 rebounds and seven blocked shots to pace Red Jacket (5-8). Garrett Jansen added 13 points.
Early College connected on 12 three-pointers compared to three by Red Jacket.

Gananda 64,
Sodus 18

Kolby Bean scored 12 points to lead the Gananda boys basketball team to a win over Sodus on Thursday.
Austin Aloi added eight points, Riley Palmer and Eric Mucci each had seven points, Chase Reeves and Kameron Gray both added six points and Matt Holmes chipped in four points as the Blue Panthers improved to 8-6 on the season.
Jonathan Derrenbacher scored seven points to lead Sodus (0-14). Zachary Burnette and Imani Heath each added five points.

Greece Athena 67,
Brockport 32

The Greece Athena boys basketball team improved to 11-3 with a victory over visiting Brockport on Thursday.
Leading 12-11, the Trojans outscored Brockport 19-4 in the second quarter and 23-8 in the third quarter to gain control of the game.
Zac DiSalvo finished with 16 points to lead Greece Athena. Deion Hamilton added 14 points while Jay Sarkis tallied nine points and 10 assists.
Jordan Blocker led Brockport (2-14) with 12 points. Donald Cook added seven points.

Batavia 76,
Greece Olympia 53

The Batavia boys basketball team ran its record to 12-1 with a win over visiting Greece Olympia.
Jalen Smith finished with 24 points to lead Batavia, including 19 in the first quarter during which the Blue Devils outscored the Spartans 26-9. Jake Brasky added a career-high 18 points and dished out seven assists, followed by Jamesson Etienne with 13 points and Justice Fagan with 10.
Nate Smith posted 24 points, including five three-pointers, to lead Greece Olympia.
Batavia knocked down 14 three-pointers, including six from Brasky and five from Smith.

Red Jacket 52,
Prattsburgh 38

The Red Jacket girls basketball team improved to 11-3 with a win over Prattsburgh in a make-up game from a tournament hosted by the Vikings back in December.
Chelsey Jacobs scored 18 points to lead the Indians. Danielle Ogrodowski and Bailey Hixson each added 10 points, with Ogrodowski contributing 10 rebounds and Hixson adding 12.
Morgan Stratton and Kasey Socola each notched 10 points to lead Prattsburgh.

Bishop Kearney 42,
Wilson 19

The Bishop Kearney girls basketball team earned a win over Wilson Magnet on Thursday to improve to 6-7 on the season.
Skyler Gausney-Jones piled up eight points, 12 rebounds and six blocked shots to lead the Kings. Meghan Hake added 3 points and 11 rebounds.
Syreena White scored eight points to pace Wilson.

Eastridge 67,
Franklin 48

The Eastridge girls basketball team played host to Franklin on Thursday and defeated the Quakers to improve to 10-5 on the season.
Emily Piacentini finished with 18 points, nine steals and six assists to lead the Lancers. Amanda Zaremski and Jamie Klemp each added 12 points and Rachel Campbell had 11, with Zaremski contributing four steals.
Nyshjae Brown recorded 23 points and 17 rebounds to pace Franklin (2-9). Lyntajah Baxter added 22 points.

Fairport 66,
Webster Schroeder 30

The Fairport girls basketball team moved over .500 with a victory against Webster Schroeder on Thursday.
Ally Williams scored a career-high 17 points to lead the Red Raiders. Caroline Dalton added 14 points and eight rebounds while Kristen Koch provided 13 points and four steals.
Emma Merkey had seven points to lead Webster Schroeder (4-11), followed by Brooke Ervin and Christina Carosa each with five.
Fairport (8-7) knocked down nine three-pointers compared to one by Webster Schroeder.

Hilton 60,
Churchville-Chili 45

The Cadets improved to 11-4 with a road victory over Churchville-Chili on Thursday night.
Maria Jackson tallied 13 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals to lead Hilton. Cameron Graupman added 11 points, five assists and six steals while Amy Hasenauer provided 14 points.
Carly Zimmerman scored 14 points to lead Churchville-Chili (5-10). Jessica Hyde followed with 10 points.

South Seneca/Romulus 50

Ben Cratsley scored 33 points and added eight steals to lead Honeoye to a win over South Seneca/Romulus on Wednesday.
Tanner Gladding added a career-high 15 points and passed out six assists, Justin Soliday had 14 points, Jon Connell had nine points and nine rebounds, Anthony Arner provided eight points, seven assists and four steals and Cody Finster chipped in six points.
Sam Dickenson and Alex Porter led South Seneca/Romulus with 15 points each.
Honeoye improves to 10-4, 7-1 in league play.
