A very efficient Keshequa girls soccer team continued to steamroll along as they buried visiting Geneseo on Friday night in Nunda by a final score of 7-0.

Coach Pete Goho’s girls broke into the scoring column 14 minutes into the game when Shannon Cortese fed a cross to Leigh Swartzfager who fired the shot in from about 6 yards out. At the 20 minute mark Shannon Cortese scored on Megan Moran’s assist from 12 yard away. In the 24th minute Keshequa clicked once more in the first half when Megan Moran scored from Ariel Wood on a cross from about 5 yards making it 3-0. In the second half the scoring continued as the Indians were in the net again three minutes in as Ariel Wood scored from Haley Russell. Haley Russell would score two minutes later uassisted. Then Alex Flint tacked on a pair of scores in the 61st and 67th minutes as Megan Green posted an assist on the first one.

The Indians now post a record of 10-0-1 as they outshot Geneseo badly by a 24-4 count while Keshequa had eight corner kicks to two for the Blue Devils. Kate Forrester recorded the shutout and the save in goal with three stops.
