I would like to thank everyone involved in the memorial service at Church Park on Sept. 11 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. The prayers of the priest and ministers were beautifully done. Seeing our volunteer firefighters and first responders in their dress uniforms was an awesome sight. The Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, who are the future of Dansville, did a great job.
It is an honor to live in a small community that remembers its fallen with such dignity, where we can grieve together, and together, embrace each day, and look toward the future.
