A thank you goes out to everyone who helped create a successful Winter in the Village festival. It was an all-day, fun-filled holiday event in Dansville’s central business district, which was blessed by pleasurable weather. Thanks to Santa, Gerry Freeman and the Gerad Levey family who supplied Santa’s grand entrance in their horse-drawn cart.
Particular thanks go out to the village of Dansville’s participating personnel, the Dansville Fire Department, the Lions Club’s Festival of Lights and tree decorations, the VFW, the White Sabres, 78 Big Band, the Dansville school carollers, the children’s library annex, the public library, the children’s theater, Star Theatre, vendors, Clara Barton Chapter No. 1 of the American Red Cross, AJ’s Mercantile, Conesus Lake Riders Club, One 29 Main and participating wine tasting businesses, Genesee Valley Federal Credit Union and especially all the restaurants and businesses ad not to forget Connie’s Waffles.
