What to watch: 'Trouble with the Curve' in theaters
Clint Eastwood makes what could be his last pitch for an acting Oscar by playing a washed-up baseball scout hot on the trail of a hitting phenom (Joe Massingill). But the only person that can help him beat a rival scout (Justin Timberlake) to the punch is the old man’s estranged daughter (Amy Adams). The film marks the directorial debut of Robert Lorenz, Eastwood’s longtime producing partner.
